David Boardman is the CEO and co-founder of URC Ventures. As CEO, David drives the overall strategic vision and 3D product definition for URC Ventures. He brings over 17 years of software innovation and global application and deployment experience in the technology sector as a seasoned entrepreneur and Fortune 100 executive. Prior to URC Ventures, David led the strategic vision and product strategy for big data analytics and Wi-Fi content management services companies. In 2003, he launched the Mobile Media Consortium, which brought together the New Media Institute and leading industry partners including Intel, McDonalds, Hewlett-Packard, Nokia and Turner Broadcasting to develop groundbreaking research for real-world mobile applications. Prior, David spent over 10 years at Hewlett-Packard where he established and managed Hewlett-Packard’s software development consulting practice, which specialized in the global deployment of enterprise software for the telecom industry. David holds both a Master’s and Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Purdue University where he led research that analyzed software behavior based on acoustic patterns.
